Cans and Ends

Container Machinery has provided machinery for can making and food processing for over 40 years. The original company (Container Machinery Corporation) was founded in 1974 and initially represented European manufacturers of can making and food processing equipment in North America. One of the products developed by Container Machinery is SEAMscan, the double seam inspection system. This award winning product ushered in the development of many other gauges and testers for the can making industry.

To better serve the global market, Container Machinery has recently expanded into three separate entities:

Container Machinery Corporation, USA (CMU)

Container Machinery Corporation represents European and Asian machinery manufacturers in the US. Products available through us include sensors from Jungmichel in Germany, spare parts for machinery from Lagarde in France, and parts from various other manufacturers. Container Machinery can also provide quotations for individual machines or even complete production lines.

Container Machinery Europe, Germany (CME)

Container Machinery Europe specializes in the import and export of various European, mostly German and Chinese, specialties. Some products available from Container Machinery include can and end components imported from China into Europe, and machinery for end handling from Container Machinery in China. We also administer a small size Solar Plant in Thuringia, Germany.

Container Machinery Asia Co. Ltd, Hong Kong

Container Machinery Asia owns and manages a WOFE in Zhuhai, Guandong Province, China, which manufactures can end handling equipment. The products include newly designed equipment for can end wrapping, end un-wrapping, and individual components up to complete end lines.
